Ards averaged a double-double with 20.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game in two games last week. On Saturday against UW-River Falls, he posted 29 points on 10-of-19 shooting and grabbed a season-high 19 rebounds, tied for the third-most in one game in program history. On Wednesday at UW-Stevens Point, Ards tallied 12 points, three rebounds and three assists. For the week, he made 11-of-14 (78.6 percent) from the free-throw line.

Johanna Taylor (Wauwatosa, Wis./East), Junior, Center
Taylor averaged 11.5 points on 78.6 percent shooting (11-of-14) and added 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game last week to help the No. 10 Warhawks to a 2-0 record in WIAC play. On Wednesday against UW-Stevens Point, she tallied a team-high 18 points to go along with five rebounds, two assists and three blocks to lead UW-Whitewater to a 67-49 triumph at Kachel Gymnasium. Three days later, Taylor registered a game-high eight rebounds to go along with five points, two assists and one block in the Warhawks' 73-41 victory at UW-River Falls. She helped anchor the UW-W defense, which didn't allow the Falcons to score in the third quarter.
