The Warhawks found their offensive rhythm in the second half, finding points in almost every possession in the first five minutes.

UW-W tightened the deficit to 10 points after Equan Ards (Milwaukee, Wis./Hamilton) hit a three-pointer with 8:39 left to play. They followed it with five unanswered points with a layup and free throw from Ards and two good free throws from Jack Brahm (Bayside, Wis./Glendale Nicolet), making it a 62-57.
