The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater wrestling team traveled to UW-La Crosse Thursday night for another Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference showdown.

The No. 14 Warhawks (7-5, 4-1 WIAC) fell in the dual 22-21 to the ninth-ranked Eagles (10-3, 4-0 WIAC). UW-Whitewater's dual winning streak against conference foes ended at nine.

Hazen Rice (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg)Â struck back with a 2-1 decision at 141 to maintain the Warhawk advantage.
The Eagles took the next seven points to emerge victorious in the dual.
