The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater gymnastics team posted a team score of 188.650 Friday night as it hosted a tri-meet against UW-Stout and Division II Lindenwood (Mo.) at the annual Harley Davidson Invitational at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee.
The Warhawks improved to 5-0 in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meets by defeating UW-Stout, which totaled 184.875 points. Lindenwood registered a score of 190.850 to finish first at the meet.

Lisa O'Donnell (Berwyn, Ill./Morton West) led UW-Whitewater in two events and won the all-around competition with a 37.950, her third-highest score of the season.
The Warhawks started the meet on vault, where they scored a 46.800. Senior

Lauren Marshall (Winthrop Harbor, Ill./Zion-Benton Township) tied for fourth overall with scores of 9.425. O'Donnell tied for eighth with a 9.400, and junior
Erika Briscoe (Solon, Iowa/Solon) posted a 9.350 to place 11th. Senior
Christina Slack (Albrightsville, PA/Jim Thorpe) collected a 9.200 to finish in a tie for 12th.
UW-Whitewater totaled a 47.025 on the uneven parallel bars and was led by O'Donnell, who tied for second with a 9.675. Junior
Bailey Fitzpatrick (Burlington, Wis./Burlington) earned a 9.450, good for seventh place, and senior
Kate Mierow (Brookfield, WI/Brookfield Central) placed eighth with a 9.425. Freshman
Blaise Wilson (Thornton, Colo./Legacy) cracked the top 10 in the event with a 9.350, and junior
Sarah Rhodes (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids) finished 13th with a 9.125.
Five Warhawks placed among the top 10 on the balance beam, where the team totaled a 46.750. Junior
Franchesca Hutton (Shakopee, Minn./Main Street School of Performing Arts) led the team with a 9.500, good for sixth place, and Mierow followed in seventh with a 9.475. Sophomore
Acacia Fossum (Gladstone, N.D./Richardton-Taylor) finished eighth with a 9.350, junior
Abby Helmke (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) placed ninth with a 9.275 and O'Donnell came in 10th with a 9.150.
UW-Whitewater wrapped up the meet in the floor exercise, where it cracked the top 20 of the program record book with a team score of 48.075, good for a tie for 17th all time. O'Donnell tied for second with a 9.725, her fifth consecutive score at 9.700 or above. Fossum tied for sixth place with a 9.650, and Hutton and Mierow tied for eighth with matching 9.600s. Helmke and Briscoe each recorded a 9.500 to tie for 12th overall.
The Warhawks visit UW-Oshkosh next Friday, Feb. 16, at 6 p.m. for a WIAC dual meet.
