The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's basketball team downed UW-Stout (7-14 overall, 0-10 WIAC), 94-52, in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Saturday afternoon at Kachel Gymnasium.
The Warhawks (18-3 overall, 8-2 WIAC) recorded 94 points in the matchup, which was their most in a single game since scoring 96 points on November 4, 2015, against Illinois Wesleyan.
Senior guard
Brooke Trewyn (Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater) recorded a double-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Senior forward
Andrea Meinert (West Bend, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) added 13 points and six rebounds, and sophomore guard
Becky Raeder (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./Sheboygan Falls) tallied 11 points.
UW-Whitewater gained the lead, 5-4, with a free-throw by Trewyn and held the lead the entire game from that point on. Junior
Sarah Schumacher (Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater) finished inside three minutes remaining in the period to give the Warhawks a seven-point lead, which was their largest in the quarter.
The Warhawks extended their lead in the second quarter, outscoring the Blue Devils 26-16. UW-Whitewater started the period with an 8-0 run that included a basket inside from Meinert.
Trewyn drained a 3-pointer with 2:32 left in the half to give UW-Whitewater a 22-point lead. A layup from
Sarah Schumacher (Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater) gave the Warhawks their final basket of the half.
Raeder scored seven of her 11 points in the third quarter, including a 3-pointer with three minutes left in the period to give the UW-Whitewater a 25 point lead.

Rebekah Schumacher (Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater) behind the arc for another 3-pointer to give the Warhawks a 68-39 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

With five minutes remaining in the contest,
Rebekah Schumacher (Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater) found sophomore forward
Morgan Rosencrants (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles North) inside, and Rosencrants finished the basket to give UW-Whitewater a 82-45 lead.
Junior guard
Emily Kraft (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central) earned a trip to the line with a minute remaining in play and gave the Warhawks a 94-50 lead.
UW-Whitewater recorded 19 assists, and 20 players tallied minutes in the contest. The Warhawks shot 8-of-15 and 53.3 percent behind the arc and 48.5 percent from the floor in the matchup.
The Warhawks continue play Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. at No. 13 UW-Oshkosh.
