The No. 40 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team won its third straight dual match Tuesday afternoon, downing Edgewood 9-0 at Quann Park in Madison.
The Warhawks (13-11 overall) lost a combined seven games in doubles and took all 12 singles sets from the Eagles (7-15).
Sophomore
Brett Conard (Glendale, Wis./Nicolet) and freshman
Matthew Primozic (Elkhart Lake, Wis./Plymouth) combined for an 8-0 triumph at No. 3 doubles, and freshmen
Zach Wood (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove) and
Lucas Monterroso (Montevideo, Uruguay/Colegio Jesus Maria) followed suit with an 8-3 victory at No. 2.
Junior
Zane Navratil (Racine, Wis./The Prairie School) and sophomore
Jimmy Engelhart (Brookfield, Wis./East) completed the doubles sweep with an 8-4 win at the No. 1 position.
After posting a shutout in doubles, Primozic also didn't surrender one game in singles, compiling a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at the fifth position. Monterroso and sophomore
Rory Calabria (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) each lost only one game in straight-set victories at Nos. 4 and 2, respectively.

Matt Zurowski (West Bend, Wis./East) allowed their opponents only two games at the Nos. 6 and 3 spots, respectively. Junior
Grant Thompson (Hawthorn Woods, Ill./Lake Zurich) completed the match with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1.
UW-Whitewater hosts 38th-ranked Coe (Iowa) Sunday at 10 a.m. at Wangerin Courts. The dual match is the Warhawks' regular season finale.
