The No. 12 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater posted three convincing victories in dual matches Saturday at the Rocky Rococo Border Brawls at Kachel Fieldhouse.
 
The Warhawks (10-6 overall) defeated North Central (Ill.) by a 31-15 score, downed Concordia (Wis.) 40-5 and recorded a 51-6 triumph over Harper (Ill.).
 
Senior Joseph Brodman (Tiffin, Ohio/Calvert), junior Austin Quartullo (Muskego, Wis./Muskego), sophomore Nicholas Bonomo (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North) and freshman Mac Casella (La Grange, Ill./Lyons Township) each finished 3-0 for the day.
 
Brodman, ranked 10th in the nation at 133 pounds by D3wrestle.com, registered two pins and one major decision, Quartullo, ranked 10th at 157 pounds by the National Wrestling Coaches Association, collected one pin and one decision.
 
Bonomo, ranked eighth by D3wrestle.com and ninth by the NWCA, earned two pins and one technical fall at 174 pounds. Casella posted one pin and one major decision.
 
Senior Zac Denny (Machesney Park, Ill./Harlem), the nation's consensus No. 2 wrestler at 125 pounds, finished 2-0 for the day. Freshman Mike Kouvelis (Fox Lake, Ill./Grant Community) was also 2-0 with a pair of falls at 165 pounds.
 
UW-Whitewater continues action next Friday and Saturday at the annual Pete Willson-Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational. Competition begins Friday at 11 a.m. and resumes Saturday at 9 a.m.
