The No. 20 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater wrestling team extended its dual match win streak to five Saturday with three victories at the Rocky Rococo Border Brawl Duals at Kachel Fieldhouse.
 
The Warhawks (11-4 overall, 4-1 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) opened the day with a 27-15 triumph over conference foe UW-Eau Claire. The team continued with a 43-3 win over Concordia (Wis.), and wrapped up the performance with a 21-15 victory over North Central (Ill.).
 
Senior Tom Gerszewski (Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake South), junior Joseph Brodman (Tiffin, Ohio/Calvert), sophomores Connor Price (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) and Isaiah Vela (West Chicago, Ill./St. Charles East) were all 3-0 at their respective weights.
 
At 165, Gerszewski tallied a major decision and two decisions. Price registered the same results at 174, including an 8-6 triumph over Mason Mergener of Concordia, who is listed in the honorable mention category of the D3wrestle.com rankings.
 
Vela posted a pin, a major decision and a 4-1 decision over North Central's Ben Williamson, who is ranked in the honorable mention category of the D3wrestle.com rankings, at 149 pounds.
 
Brodman earned one technical fall and one decision, edging North Central's Brandon Malone, an honorable mention wrestler according to D3wrestle.com, by a 4-3 count.
 
Junior Zac Denny (Machesney Park, Ill./Harlem) finished 2-0 with a pin, while senior Matt Adcock (Bloomingdale, Ill./Lake Park), the nation's No. 2 ranked wrestler according to the National Wrestling Coaches Association and No. 3 by D3wrestle.com, posted two wins, including a 5-1 decision over Layten Binion, who is slotted sixth by the NWCA and second by D3wrestle.com.
 
Freshman Bowen Wileman (Milton, Wis./Milton) also secured two victories, including one decision. Freshman Brandon Arteaga tallied a technical fall and a decision at 157.
 
UW-Whitewater continues action next weekend at the annual Pete Willson-Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational. Competition begins Friday at 11 a.m. and continues Saturday at 9 a.m.
