DES MOINES, Iowa - The Warhawks, ranked fourth in the nation, cruised past #2 Augsburg, 25-9, to take third in the
National Duals in Des Moines Sunday afternoon.
Top ranked Wartburg won the National Duals with a 29-6 win over Concordia (MN) after defeating the Warhawks in a semifinal round earlier Sunday.

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Warhawk wrestling team went 2-0 in the first day of competition in the NWCA National Duals Saturday. UW-W opened the tournament with a 21-15 win over Centenary and advanced to the semifinals with a 26-11 win over #5 Wilkes. The Warhawks will face #1 Wartburg Sunday at 11:00 am.

The UW-Whitewater wrestling team, ranked fourth in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association poll, will be competing in the NWCA Division III National Duals presented by Hibiclens and the United States Marine Corps Saturday and Sunday, January 11-12. The competition will take place at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa. The Warhawks open the tournament with a 9:00 am match Saturday against Centenary.
