Netters Split Sunday Matches

After fifteen straight dual match wins, the Warhawk men's tennis team saw their streak come to an end by dropping a match to Division I UW-Green Bay 7-0 on Sunday.  However, the Warhawks followed up their first loss in over a month with an 8-1 victory over St. Norbert.  Both matches were played on the campus of UW-Green Bay.  The scoring for the match against UW-GB used the Division I format where a team must win two of three doubles matches to earn a point.

In the first match against Green Bay, the Warhawks won the number one doubles flight, but dropped two close matches at the two and three spots.  In singles, the Warhawks battled in three matches, winning several games in each set, but were unable to come away victorious at any flight.
