Streak to Twelve with Win over Oshkosh

It's been over a month since the men's tennis team last lost a dual match.  Their most current victory came on Friday night in Eau Claire over UW-Oshkosh 5-0.  Due to weather, the teams played to a decision rather than finishing all nine flights.

The Warhawks have now run off twelve consecutive dual match victories with their last loss coming on March 12 to Gustavus Adolphus, a renowned powerhouse for tennis, and a team frequently ranked nationally by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

On Friday the Warhawks made quick work of the Titans winning all three doubles matches and the first two singles flights to finish were at the three spot and the six spot, both in favor of the 'Hawks.

Mitch Osborne (Crystal Lake, IL/Central) and Byron Balkin (Madison/Memorial), the number six ranked team in the central region by the ITA, won their 21st match as a duo defeating UW-O's number one doubles team of Nate Kilsdonk and Kevin Lewis.  Balkin also won at the three singles slot running his season singles record to 22-6, which ties him for the second most wins on the team.  Andrew Bayliss (Sheboygan/North) has 25 victories and Ethan Niquet (Waukesha/Marquette) also has 22.
