UW-Whitewater is ranked 19 in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Poll.  Seniors Austin Bautista (Des Plaines, IL/Maine East) and Jon Schmidt (Menomonee Falls/Hartford) are ranked in the NWCA Division III Individual Poll.

The team is off to a 0-1 start, with a conference loss to UW-La Crosse.  They will compete next on November 21, at the Concordia Open in Chicago, IL.  
 
Bautista remains No. 2 in the 141 lb. weight class.  He began the season with a pin in the time of 1:23.

Schmidt, 0-1 overall this season, moved up to No. 8 in the 285 lb. weight class.

The Warhawk's next home match will be against UW-Eau Claire on December 2, at 7:00 pm.
