Michaela Matthys (Crystal Lake, Ill./McHenry West), Sophomore
Matthys won the 100-yard butterfly and placed fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke competing against swimmers from Division I and Division II over the weekend at UW-Green Bay's Phoenix 1-2-3 Invitational. She recorded a season-best time of 58.63 in the butterfly and a mark of 1:10.29 in the breaststroke. Matthys also helped three of the Warhawks' relay teams finish in the top six – the 400-yard medley relay (4th, 4:07.12), the 200-yard medley relay (5th, 1:53.70) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (6th, 1:41.53).
