Gonio, Kuhn, Price, Van Duyn and Hoppe made history Sunday at the Crusader Classic, bowling a school record Baker game of 290 during UW-Whitewater's 4-2 best-of-seven victory over No. 11 Central Missouri. After starting the game with a spare, the Warhawks bowled 11 consecutive strikes to shatter the previous record of 268 set on Dec. 2, 2012. The performance helped UW-Whitewater place third at the 11-team tournament, which took place Friday-Sunday in Richton Park, Ill.
