Rongstad averaged a double-double with 13.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game and shot 50 percent from the floor to help the 18th-ranked Warhawks to a 1-1 record last week. On Wednesday in a 56-55 victory at UW-Stevens Point, he tallied 12 points and 11 rebounds to go along with two assists and two steals and knocked down a key 3-pointer with 7:36 remaining to put UW-Whitewater ahead by four. On Saturday at seventh-ranked UW-River Falls, Rongstad played all 40 minutes and recorded 15 points, 10 rebounds and three steals. Since joining the Warhawks on Dec. 29, he is averaging 9.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per contest.
