Meredith Porter (Hales Corners, Wis./Whitnall), Senior
Porter recorded the nation's No. 2 time in the 400-meter dash and bested 37 other competitors to win the event Saturday and help the Warhawks win the 10-team Warhawk Classic Invitational, which featured three of the nation's top 25 teams, at the Williams Center. She finished the event in a personal record time of 57.66 seconds, only four-tenths of a second off a school record pace. Porter also helped the Warhawks' top 4x400-meter relay team finish second in the event with a mark of 4:06.34, good for fourth in the WIAC and 32nd in the nation.
