Mike Kouvelis (Fox Lake, Ill./Grant Community), Freshman, 165 Pounds
Kouvelis finished 3-0 with two pins at 165 pounds last week to help the No. 12 Warhawks to a 3-1 dual record. He started the week Thursday with a 4-3 victory over Logan Schlough of No. 5 UW-La Crosse. Two days later, Kouvelis pinned Brandon Mattinen in 3:36 to help the Warhawks to a 31-15 dual win over North Central (Ill.). Later that day, he pinned Jake Verschoor in 1:18 to help UW-Whitewater to a 51-6 triumph over Harper (Ill.). For the season, Kouvelis is 17-10 with seven pins.
