Maly posted career highs of 20 carries and 92 yards and scored a touchdown Saturday to help the No. 2 ranked Warhawks clinch at least a share of the WIAC championship with a 27-20 victory in overtime against UW-River Falls at Perkins Stadium. On UW-Whitewater's second drive of the third quarter, Maly compiled runs of 13 and five yards before taking his third straight carry 23 yards for a touchdown to bring the team within 12-10 at the 11:57 mark. Later in the period, he ran five times for 36 yards on a drive to help the Warhawks kick a game-tying field goal nine seconds into the fourth.
