Ben Franzen (Hampshire, Ill./Hampshire), Sophomore, Kicker of
Franzen posted four touchbacks on six kickoffs Saturday to help No. 2 UW-Whitewater remain undefeated with a 24-2 victory over UW-Stevens Point at Perkins Stadium. Franzen's kickoffs helped the Warhawks limit the Pointers to an average starting field position of their own 27-yard line. Following a safety in the third quarter, he sent a free kickoff 70 yards all the way back to the UW-Stevens Point 10-yard line. Franzen's only other non-touchback of the day traveled all the way back to the Pointers' 1-yard line.
