Brandon Tamsett (Waterford/Waterford-Union), Senior, Defensive Line
Tamsett tallied four tackles, including one for a loss of nine yards, and batted down a pass in the No. 2 Warhawks' 24-2 victory over UW-Stevens Point on Saturday at Perkins Stadium. He knocked down a Kyle Larson pass on a first down in the second quarter, and the Pointers were eventually forced to punt on the drive. On a second-and-9 in the third quarter, he got into the backfield and downed running back Britton Vernon for a loss of nine yards, and UW-Setvens Point was forced to punt two plays later. Tamsett and the defensive line helped UW-Whitewater allow only 76 rushing yards on 24 attempts.
