Brian Zimdars (Galena, Ohio/Olentangy), Junior, Defender
Zimdars made his first three starts in a Warhawk uniform last week to help the Warhawks improve to 10-4-3 after winning all three matches. Not only did he start all three games, he played every minute in each match. In a 1-0 win over Monmouth, he aided the defense in limiting the Scots to three shots. Against Marian, he and the defense held the Sabres to five shots as UW-W went on to win 1-0. The next day, Zimdars anchored the defense as they kept UW-Platteville in check and went on to win 2-1 to win the Shaymus Guinn Cup for the third time in four seasons.
