Brent Campbell (Rockford, IL/Winnebago), Senior, Tight End
Campbell caught three passes for a 31 yards, including a critical touchdown, to help the second-ranked Warhawks down No. 5 UW-Oshkosh 17-14 Saturday in front of a Division III record crowd of 17,535 at Perkins Stadium. With 1:57 to play in the third quarter, Campbell ran up the seam of the field and made a diving catch on a throw from Cole Wilber (Dana Point, Calif./Dana Hills) for an 18-yard score to put UW-Whitewater ahead 10-7. He caught a five-yard pass from Wilber during the Warhawks' go-ahead drive late in the fourth quarter. Campbell also played a key role in the UW-Whitewater running game, helping the team rush for 152 yards.
