Schauer and the No. 2 Warhawks' offensive line helped protect for 409 yards of total offense, including 308 passing, in the team's 30-24 victory at eighth-ranked UW-Platteville on Saturday in the 22nd annual George Chryst Bowl for the Miner's Axe. UW-Whitewater tallied five pass plays of 20 or more yards in the game, including a 68-yard touchdown and a 25-yard touchdown. Schauer and the offensive line helped the Warhawks hold the ball for nearly 33 minutes, including more than 17 in the second half, while not allowing a sack on 32 drop backs. He also helped Drew Patterson (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton)record his second 100-yard rushing game of the season.
