Payton DeLuga (Algonquin, Ill./Dundee Crown), sophomore, defender
DeLuga played all but 17 minutes in the Warhawks' two wins last week. In a 1-0 victory over No. 20 Augustana, DeLuga played the entire match, anchoring a defense that held the Vikings to just seven shots. In UW-W's 7-1 triumph over previously unbeaten St. Catherine University, Deluga played 73 minutes and helped hold the Wildcats to nine shots, 17 under their average. For the week she totaled 163 minutes and her team never gave up a goal when she was in the game.
