Anfang registered a 1-0 record with a 0.73 earned run average with 11 strikeouts in 12 1/3 innings of work to help the No. 7 Warhawks to a 6-0 record and the WIAC regular season championship last week. In the first game of a doubleheader against UW-Stout on May 2, Anfang allowed two runs (both unearned) over seven innings with six strikeouts in UW-Whitewater’s 14-2 win in seven innings. In Game 1 of Saturday’s doubleheader at UW-Platteville, he struck out five batters and surrendered one run over 5 1/3 frames to help the Warhawks secure a 7-3 victory.
