Fassbender placed second out of 22 competitors in the 1-mile run and was part of the winning 4x400-meter relay team Saturday at UW-Stevens Point’s Big Dawg Invite. She crossed the finish line in a personal record 5:22.00 in the mile to move up to 18th in the WIAC in the event. Fassbender also ran the third leg of UW-W’s 4x400-meter relay, which recorded a season-best time of 4:08.92, good for fourth in the conference.
