Wright compiled two goals and one assist last week, both in Warhawk wins. On Wednesday at Carroll, he tallied what proved to be the game-winner on a penalty kick in the 82nd minute, helping UW-Whitewater to a 3-2 victory against the host Pioneers. On Sunday in the team’s 3-0 triumph at Macalester, Wright scored another game-winner, this time in the 19th minute, to give the Warhawks a 1-0 lead. He later assisted on UW-W’s second goal, scored by Devin Howard in the 39th minute. For the week, he played at least 45 minutes in all four of the Warhawks’ matches, including 78 in the win at Macalester, and totaled six shots, including four on goal.
