De La Cerda made her Warhawk cross country debut Saturday at the UW-Platteville Pioneer Gender Equity Invitational at Cole Acres Golf Course in Cuba City, placing second out of 26 runners in the 6-kilometer event. Her time of 24:27.1 was one of only six performances under 25 minutes and one of two under the 24:30 mark in the race.
