Fassbender entered the NCAA Division III's top 10 in his third event this indoor season after winning the 5,000-meter run at the WIAC Multis in Stevens Point last Thursday night. His time of 14:33.83 currently leads the WIAC and ranks third in the nation after adjustment for track size. Fassbender already ranked among the top 10 in Division III in the 1-mile run and the 3,000-meter run.
