Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Drew Patterson (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton), Sophomore, Running Back
Patterson tallied 22 carries for 227 yards (10.3 average) and three touchdowns to help lead the No. 2 Warhawks to a 59-13 win over Belhaven (Miss.) on Saturday at Perkins Stadium. His 54-yard scoring run with 3:17 left in the second quarter put UW-Whitewater ahead for good. Patterson added rushing touchdowns of 23 yards in the third quarter and 17 yards in the fourth quarter to finish with three scores for the second straight game. His yardage output was the most in one game by a Warhawk running back since Levell Coppage compiled 236 yards at UW-Eau Claire on Nov. 5, 2011.
