Chatterton's strong performance helped the UW-Whitewater men's swimming and diving team place third at the 2020 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships. He was a member of the 800-yard freestyle relay team, which earned All-WIAC honors with a runner-up finish, and recorded podium finishes in the 400-yard individual medley (3rd), 200-yard breaststroke (4th) and 200-yard individual medley (6th). Two of Chatterton's top times from 2020 are among the program's top 10 all-time personal records, including the 100-yard breaststroke (58.43, 6th) and the 400-yard individual medley (4:06.41, 5th). For his career, Chatterton is an eight-time WIAC medalist in individual and relay events. He was a member of the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team in 2018-19. Chatterton is majoring in marketing with an emphasis in digital marketing and is a three-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
