Schumacher helped the UW-Whitewater women's basketball team win the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season championship and reach the NCAA Tournament in 2019-20 despite an abbreviated season. After appearing in nine games and averaging 8.3 points and 3.2 rebounds per game, Schumacher suffered a season-ending injury. Her performance over that stretch helped the Warhawks to an 8-1 start. In 2018-19, Schumacher was named first team All-WIAC after averaging 12.0 points per game and making 58 three-pointers, good for second in the conference. A two-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll, Schumacher is majoring in art.
