Derick Achombom (Widikum, Bamenda, Cameroon/Government Bilingual High)helped the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's soccer team to a record of 1-0-1 in their opening week of play. In a season opening 2-0 win over the University of Minnesota-Morris, Achombom recorded two assists in 55 minutes of play. In a 1-1 double-overtime tie with Macalester, he played sixty minutes and recorded one shot. For the week he totaled 115 minutes, two assists, three shots and one shot on goal.
