Matthias was named the 2020 WIAC Softball Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete after an outstanding three years with the UW-Whitewater softball team. She is a two-time WIAC Pitcher of the Year, and is a three-time NFCA All-Great Lakes Region and first team all-conference honoree, and has been a part of three league championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances during her tenure. Matthias' career statistics line includes a 42-13 record, a 1.66 earned run average, 20 shutouts and 395 strikeouts over 362 innings pitched in 66 appearances. She is an eight-time WIAC Pitcher of the Week for her career. Matthias is a four-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll, a three-time Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete and a 2019-20 UW-Whitewater Chancellor's Scholar-Athlete. She is majoring in elementary education with a minor in mathematics.
