Slicker helped the Warhawk women's tennis team claim its 13th consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship in the fall. She tallied her second straight title at No. 5 singles, closing out her weekend with a 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (11-9) victory in the final match. Slicker posted a 14-3 record in singles, tied for the most wins on the team, and added a 5-1 mark in doubles play. UW-Whitewater was set to host the WIAC Team Tournament later this month, aiming for what could have been its 13th straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Slicker, a special education major, was a two-year captain for the team. She was a three-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete and three-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll. Slicker was involved in numerous volunteer activities on campus and in the community, and was a two-time member of the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
