Knudsen helped the UW-Whitewater golf team earn its third straight Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship in the fall. She finished third at the 54-hole tournament with a 232, including a final-round 73, as the Warhawks punched their ticket to what would have been a third consecutive appearance in the NCAA Championship this May. In her final round of the season at the 54-hole Golfweek Division III Invitational on Oct. 13-15, Knudsen carded a school-record 71 (1-under par) to tie for sixth place overall and break the program's 54-hole individual record (228). She led the team in scoring during the fall (77.4 strokes per 18-hole round), registered four top-10 finishes and was named first team All-WIAC for the third straight season. Knudsen claimed medalist honors at the 2017 WIAC Championship and was the conference's 2018 Player of the Year, and garnered All-Central Region accolades from the Women's Golf Coaches Association in 2017-18 and 2018-19. She is majoring in elementary education.
