Ards averaged 26.3 points per game on 58.2 percent shooting from the floor and 93.3 percent at the free-throw line and added 8.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest to help the Warhawks to a 2-1 record last week. He made his UW-W debut Tuesday night at MSOE with a 30-point performance on 10-of-17 from the field and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line to help the team to an 81-77 triumph. Three nights later, he posted 24 points (12-for-19 FGs), eight rebounds and three assists against seventh-ranked Washington-St. Louis at Kachel Gymnasium. Ards finished the weekend with a double-double on 25 points (10-for-19 FGs) and 14 rebounds to go along with two assists and two steals in UW-Whitewater’s 79-73 victory over Viterbo.
