Purgett placed second out of 84 bowlers in six traditional games over the weekend to help No. 10 UW-Whitewater to a fourth-place finish at the 12-team Warhawk Classic at Bowl-A-Vard Lanes in Madison. She averaged a 206 for a total pinfall of 1,236 to earn All-Tournament Team honors for the weekend. Purgett posted an 85 percent fill percentage and a 48 percent strike percentage. Her performance helped the team finish the three-day tournament with a 10-3 record.
