Peete rushed 16 times for 114 yards and three touchdowns Saturday to help the third-ranked Warhawks to a 38-0 victory at UW-Stevens Point. On a drive early in the second quarter, he ran five times for 29 yards and completed the eight-play, 84-yard drive with an 11-yard touchdown to give UW-Whitewater a 14-0 lead with 9:01 remaining in the period. On the Warhawks’ first drive of the second half, he tallied six carries for 54 yards and finished off the drive with a 19-yard scoring run to make it 21-0 with 10:40 to play in the third quarter. Peete enjoyed another strong drive early in the fourth quarter, posting four carries for 28 yards, including a three-yard touchdown run with 8:24 left in the contest to make it a 31-point game. Saturday’s effort was his second 100-yard game of the year and his third game with multiple rushing touchdowns.
