Morgando scored the game-winning goal in the 109th minute Saturday to help the Warhawks defeat rival UW-Platteville 1-0 in double overtime on the road. His tally came off a long throw-in and helped UW-Whitewater retain the Shaymus Guinn Cup. Morgando played 64 minutes in the contest, amassing two shots. He also scored the first goal of the match in the 13th minute on Wednesday at eighth-ranked Luther (Iowa), and played 81 of the contest's 90 minutes. Morgando's performance helped the Warhawks improve their record to 11-1-1, including a 7-1-1 mark in away matches.
