Co-defensive Player of the Week
Brandon Tamsett (Waterford/Waterford-Union), Senior, Defensive Lineman
Tamsett tied for the team lead with five tackles, including one for a loss, during No. 3 UW-Whitewater's season-opening 51-3 victory over The College of New Jersey on Saturday at Perkins Stadium. Four of his five stops were for negative yardage or no gain. Tamsett helped the Warhawks control the line of scrimmage from the opening whistle. The defense allowed only 75 rushing yards (1.9 yards per carry) and 186 total yards.
