Matthias finished 3-0 with a 0.44 earned run average in three games last week to help the Warhawks post a 5-1 record. She started the week Tuesday by striking out five batters and allowing only four hits over four innings in UW-Whitewater's 12-2, five-inning victory at UW-Stevens Point. Two days later, Matthias allowed only to help the Warhawks to a 10-2, five-inning win over Chicago. On Sunday at Carroll, she tossed a five-hit shutout and tallied nine strikeouts in UW-W's 6-0 triumph.
