Hazen Rice (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg), Junior, 141 Pounds
Rice posted a 5-0 record with three major decisions at 141 pounds over the weekend at the National Wrestling Coaches Association National Duals in Louisville, Ky. His performance helped the No. 15 Warhawks finish with a 3-2 record with three of five matches against nationally ranked opponents. Rice started the weekend Friday with a 6-1 decision over Kyle Clough of Luther (Iowa) before rattling off major decision victories over fifth-ranked Wabash (15-2), Greensboro (13-3) and No. 17 Olivet (19-6). He concluded the weekend Saturday with a 3-0 decision over Amier Khamis of No. 11 Coe (Iowa). Rice, ranked No. 8 in the nation by D3wrestle.com, is now 12-2 this season.
