Theron Baumann (Monona Grove, Wis./Monona Grove), Sophomore
In a field featuring multiple Division I and II student-athletes, Baumann placed second in the shot put and fourth in the discus throw on Sunday at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative Meet. His toss of 56-11.25 (17.35 meters) in the shot put is a season best and currently ranks second in the WIAC and third in NCAA Division III. Baumann's result in the discus of 157-10 (48.12 meters) is his second highest of the year. He currently ranks No. 1 in the conference and No. 3 in the nation in the event.
