Nate Tranel (Lancaster, Wis./Lancaster), Sophomore, Defensive Back
Tranel collected five tackles, including three solo stops, on Saturday to help UW-Whitewater to its third straight win, a 20-7 triumph at UW-River Falls. He stopped a Falcon runner for no gain to help force a punt early in the second quarter, and made another tackle against the run early in the fourth quarter that helped force another punt. Tranel now has finished with at least four tackles in each of his last three games, all Warhawk victories.
