Bridgid McGuire (Slinger/Slinger), Senior, and Jillian Wallace (Crystal Lake, IL/Central), Senior
McGuire and Wallace finished seventh over the weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Oracle Cup in Rome, Ga. After falling against third-seeded Emory (Ga.) in straight sets and Washington-St. Louis in three sets, McGuire and Wallace collected a 6-7 (1), 6-4, 1-0 (10-7) victory over Coco Kulle and Flyora Shiyanova of New York University to complete their seventh-place finish at Division III doubles. The duo, which won the ITA Midwest Regional championship to claim its spot at the national tournament, is now 15-4 this season heading into this weekend's WIAC Championship.
