Women’s Tennis – Doubles

McGuire and Wallace claimed the championship at No. 1 doubles Friday at the Warhawk Fall Invitational. After earning a first-round bye, the All-American duo downed NAIA opponent St. Francis (Ill.) by an 8-2 score and bested Division I UW-Green Bay by an 8-6 count to take the title. Earlier in the week, McGuire and Wallace combined for an 8-2 triumph over Bailey Sagen and Hannah Peters of UW-Oshkosh to help the Warhawks win their 85th consecutive dual match against a WIAC opponent, and later that night bested Illinois Tech’s top pair by an 8-5 count.
