David Fassbender (Slinger, Wis./Slinger), Freshman
Fassbender placed second out of 165 runners with a time of 27:19.5 in the 8-kilometer race to help the Warhawks win the 13-team Tom Hoffman Invitational on Saturday at UW-Whitewater. His time was 13 seconds ahead of the third-place finisher, placing only behind All-American teammate Brett Harms(Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater). Fassbender was one of six Warhawks among the top 20 finishers.
