Julia Camardo (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove), Freshman
Camardo posted a 2-0 record with a 1.02 earned run average and 14 strikeouts without walking a batter to lead UW-Whitewater to two victories at the NTC Spring Games in Clermont, Fla. In 6 2/3 innings of relief against Millikin (Ill.), she allowed just one earned run on three hits and struck out a season-high eight batters in the Warhawks' 11-5 triumph. One day later, she tossed a complete-game six-hitter and struck out six in the performance during the team's 4-1 win over St. Scholastica (Minn.).
