Stringer won the discus throw and placed ninth in the shot put last week at the UW-Platteville Invitational. Her discus mark of 148-11 (45.40 meters) is her second best of the season and was seven feet further than the runner-up. Stringer currently leads the nation in the discus and is a two-time All-American in the event. She collected a season-best mark of 41-02.25 (12.55 meters) in the shot put to improve to 10th in the WIAC.
